The main aim of my studies is the developing of a semi-destructive method for the evaluation of residual stress at micro and nano-scale. This technique involves the use of FIB (Focused Ion Beam) combined with DIC (Digital Imagine Correlation) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
I am also interested in Fracture Mechanics and Fatigue behavior of metallic materials.
